Feb 6, 2010 - i work for state farm insurance in California, Asian drivers have the smallest claims usually. The most is Hispanics, followed by blacks and whites.
I usually prefer asian drivers as an agent since they are usually more responsible, i hate doing claims that i know will lose me money.

The fact is they have only been driving over there less than half as long as we have here in the states. Also, most people in asia get their first car in their late 20s to early 30s, if they are lucky. And, from my experience of driving in many different places all over the states and in asia, people in asia generally disobey traffic laws way more than we do here in the states.

I was nearly killed in a car accident when a male adult korean driver ran a red light at around 45 to 50 miles per hour and flipped my car and pushed it about 50 feet. In asia no one has any concern for anyones safety. They run red lights, speed, run stop signs, and do stupid shit like stop where there is no stop sign to allow those with stop signs to proceed. just careless all together.

Surprising that some drivers apparently did not carefully check to see if it is OK to proceed before continuing.
LESSON: If you are a pedestrian or bicyclist and have a GREEN signal, look for someone proceeding through their RED signal.
